Foreshadow is built around one visit: the first one. Everything below happens on a phone, in the driveway, while the homeowner is still interested.
1. Search the address
Type the address. Foreshadow finds the house, pulls the real roof geometry where imagery supports it, and shows you the satellite photo with the measured outline drawn on it. Every corner is a handle you can drag to sit exactly on the real roof corner, the same way you would measure in Google Earth. Edge lengths update live, in feet and inches.
If the address has no usable imagery, you walk the house with a tape: a length and a turn per wall. Either way the geometry is yours, not a guess the software made for you.
2. Confirm what the house has
The view from above cannot count garage doors or windows, so the tool asks instead of inventing. A handful of taps: storeys, gables, what should be lit. The rest is measured.
3. Pick the package
Good, better and best are priced from your supplier's real catalog: real part numbers, real quantity rules, waste factors, power supply sizing, injection points, the connectors each corner type actually takes. The roofline itself is identical in all three tiers, because a measurement is not a sales tier.
Every design is checked against the supplier's engineering limits before it can be quoted. If a run will not drive, Foreshadow says so in the driveway, not the crew on a ladder.
4. Show the picture
The customer sees their own house finished: a photograph-grade preview built from a real photo of the property, plus a measured 3-D model you can spin, day and night, from the street or the driveway. The preview is marked as a preview, always.
5. Send the proposal
One page, signable on their phone: the picture, the scope in plain words, the price, deposit and balance, warranty terms, and an optional yearly service plan. While walls are unverified the price shows as a range with the tool's own confidence stated. Walk the walls with a tape and it firms to the cent.
6. Run the job, and the next one
The job center keeps every quote, contract, purchase order and warranty clock in one place. Mark a job signed and the contract freezes exactly as agreed. Mark it installed and the warranty dates start counting. Every finished job can become a before-and-after post and a door hanger for the street it is on, consent-gated, price never shown.
